ERGONOMICS FOR EVERYONE

The broad areas that will be covered in HWWE 2009 include industrial applications; psychology and cognitive sciences and Human Computer Interaction; agricultural and animal husbandry, transport; public utilities; Occupational stress, health and safety; defense relevance; work physiology and sports science; rehabilitation; women’s issues; design, interactive design and utility; and appropriate ergonomics applications in every strata of our lives. The principal focus will be on addressing issues intimately associated with small scale sector and cottage industries.

About the Conference

The conference will be held in December 17-19, 2009 at University of Calcutta, Kolkata, India. A pre conference workshop and a post conference workshop on Ergonomics Methodology will take place on 16th and 20th December 2009 respectively.

The conference will have technical and plenary sessions. Eminent academicians, researchers and experts of various fields will deliver learned lectures. In addition, a number of distinguished speakers will also be invited in different technical sessions.
The conference is of special interest to academicians, designers, engineers, HRD and faculty managers, occupational stress relief specialists, researchers, students engaged in above mentioned fields
